Action for Children is committed to offering a wide variety of quality projects and programs to those professionals working the Early Childhood Education field. Quality programs are offered for professionals in a variety of settings who serve children birth 12 years.

Action for Children provides a variety of services to child care centers in Central Ohio. Child care centers may care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and/or provide before or after school care.

Ohio is one of a few states that currently does not license all family child care homes. It is important to remember that anyone who does child care in their home can care for no more than 6 children at a time, with no more than three under the age of two years-old. The provider’s own children count until age 6 years.

Research has shown the positive impact adults can have on children’s growth and development when they continue to participate in their own learning about early childhood development.
